Traditional Family Photography VS Lifestyle Family Capture

So you are thinking of doing a family portrait and you are deciding on a photographer and with that, there are so many of them out there from which to choose.

For lifestyle, you will find the poses more relaxed and candid. The kids could be playing and very rarely looking directly at the camera. Fun, fresh and trendy. In my opinion, these portraits though fun are not timeless. They can often look less appealing as time goes by and one might feel the need to change them out for newer portraits as time passes where as classic portraits with classic poses and normally looking at the camera will and can stay on the wall forever. 

It is your decision to decide what is appealing to you. Classic portraits with a beautiful frame over the sofa or in the entryway of your home is a great conversation piece when guests arrive and also when enter your home everyday, a reminder of how important each member of your family is to you. And don't forget the pet.
