Engagement Sessions

Being that we are staying home and not thinking too much in doing sessions, I thought I would take the time to post a few of my all time favorite engagements portraits and a few tips.

Tips:
Clothing should be solid and plain to let the faces shine and not draw attention away.

Jewelry should be low key. One wants to keep bracelets and watches off the left wrist as to not overshadow the engagement ring.

Hair should be kept off the face and eyebrows. A full, clear view of the face is paramount.

Two outfits should be included. One with a more dressed up look to start with and then a second one in a more casual look. Very important to not make your significant other put on clothes he is not comfortable in and will look out of place.

Look for places that will make significant backdrops. Riverwalk, downtown streets, water, green, and stone textures help in making a great portraits.

As for my clients, I offer these tips as suggestions only and ultimately, my clients have the final decision.

Good luck on your engagement session.
