What
are the categories in the pageant?
Fashion, bathing suit, interview, question and answer, and evening gown, each
20%.

When is the pageant going
to be?
July 6th, 2008.
Is there a talent category?
No, but there is an open musical number that all contestants
will be participating in.
What are the age qualifications
for the pageant?
13 to 17 is the teen pageant, 18 to 29 is the Miss pageant,
and married, divorced, widowed, or single with or with out
children in the Mrs./Ms. pageant.
What
kind of money will be involved in spending on the pageant?
Entry fee, outfit for opening number and fifty to hundred
dollars for extra ads pages. All expenses can be defrayed
by finding sponsors to pay.
How much is the entry fee?
The cost of the entry fee is $475. We can show you how to easily find sponsors
to defer that cost. You can sign up with only a $100 downpayment.
What does the entry fee cover?
The entry fee covers:
- The theater
- The choreography
- The production number
- A runway workshop
- A hair styling workshop
- A make up workshop
- A program book
- A personal page in the program book
- An interview workshop
- Food the day before the pageant
during rehearsal
- Free entry to the coronation ball
- Dance rehearsal
for opening number
- Different events to be announced
To what school is the scholarship?
Our Lady of the Lake University
If my daughter is only 13, what good is the scholarship?
Our Lady of the Lake University will
bank your scholarship until she graduates from high school
and ready to attend the university.
What are the requirements
to be eligible for the scholarship?
At least a 2.5 GPA. More scholarship money may be available
if your GPA is higher than 3.2.
What are the prizes?
The winner in each category gets a $12,000 scholarship to Our
Lady of the Lake University, first runner up in each category
gets a $10,000 scholarship and the second runner up in each
category gets a $7500 scholarship! That is over $88,000 in
scholarships and in total now we are presenting over $100,000
in prizes. Scholarship eligibility is dependent on GPA as
noted above.
